We answer a lot of questions. Every single day. The same wonderful questions from wonderful people who just want to make sure they're making the right decision before they book. So in the spirit of efficiency — and because our phones need a brief rest — here are the most frequently asked questions about hiring a limo service in Austin, answered honestly and without corporate-speak.
Depends on what you're booking. Airport transfers: 24-48 hours is generally fine. Weddings and proms: 4-8 weeks minimum, and honestly sooner is always better because specific vehicles book up. SXSW, F1, ACL, and other major Austin events: book the moment you have your tickets. We are not joking about this. Those dates fill up months in advance. The question to ask is not "how early do I need to book?" but "how early can I book?" The answer to that second question is: today.
For airport transfers and point-to-point trips: no minimum — you pay for the ride. For hourly as-directed service: 2-hour minimum. For special events with stretch limos and party buses: typically a 3-4 hour minimum depending on the vehicle and date. We're transparent about this at booking.
Everything. Gratuity, tolls, fuel, all standard fees — included. The number we quote you is the number you pay. We have never once presented a client with a surprise fee on checkout, and we never will. This is a point of honor for a Texan-owned company. When we say the price, we mean the price.
Adults 21+ can absolutely enjoy beverages in the vehicle — bring your own or ask us to arrange ahead of time. We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for underage drinking. Our chauffeurs are trained to enforce this without exception, which is precisely why parents trust us with their prom and graduation groups. This policy is non-negotiable, always, for every ride.
Quick guide: Executive sedan (Genesis G90, etc.) for 1-4 passengers, airport transfers, corporate rides, point-to-point elegance. SUV/Escalade for 4-6 passengers, more luggage space, groups. Chrysler 300 Stretch for 6-10 passengers, classic limo experience, prom/special occasions. Escalade Stretch for 10-14 passengers, the crowd-pleasing choice for bigger groups and impressive arrivals. Sprinter Party Bus for 10-14 passengers who want to stand up and move around. Not sure? Call us — we make recommendations every day and we're good at it.
Yes — we serve the entire Austin metro (Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, San Marcos, Kyle, Pflugerville, Leander, Lakeway, Dripping Springs), and we provide city-to-city transfers to Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio. We also serve Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston metro areas directly with our DFW and Houston operations.
We track your flight automatically from the flight number you provide at booking. We provide up to 60 minutes of free wait time from your actual landing time — not your scheduled landing time, your actual one. This covers virtually every standard delay situation. If you're going to be significantly later than that, text your driver. Communication is the solution to 95% of potential problems.
Every Purple Heart Limo chauffeur is background-checked, drug-tested, and trained to our specific standards before they carry a single passenger. We're Texan-owned — the idea of sending an unvetted person to represent our company is genuinely incompatible with how we operate. Your driver's name and contact information will be provided to you before your ride begins.
Still have questions? Call us at (833) 740-0700 — we're available 24/7. Or book online and we'll reach out to confirm details. We prefer actual human conversation over FAQ pages, which is slightly ironic given that you're reading one right now.
